Hey, look! It's Tuesday again! I don't have much time today but wanted to throw this NOTD out there from way back... January maybe? You can tell it's old because I was still under the illusion that I'd have time to crop and watermark all my photos. Yeah... that didn't work out all that well. :(
Here I'm wearing Orly Frisky from last year's late summer "Back to School" Happy Go Lucky collection. Frisky is a bright teal, but you wouldn't know it from my photos. To me it just looks like a very bright sky/robin's egg blue or possibly an aqua. OOOoooh and look how short my nails are, they're actually shorter in this picture than they are in reality at this very moment! Ahh, perspective.
What you see below is two creamy coats of Frisky. Blues like this just make me smile. :) Btw, I scored this entire collection on clearance at Sally's late last year. Otherwise I would've just passed this beauty by. Orly does great cremes and I love 'em.

And because I couldn't leave well enough alone, on day two (or three... who
really knows) I added a coat of Finger Paints Motley that you can barely see. I do enjoy flakies, and I'm glad that FP made them affordable and relatively easy to get a hold of, but I really wish these had better flakie payoff. I might just end up splurging on the Inglots, they're way more expensive but payoff/flakie density is great.
Before I removed this beautifully bright mani I added a layer of matte topcoat. Sadly, flakies were indescernable so I didn't bother to take photos. I did learn a lesson, however, FP flakies perform best over dark colors.

Hey, it's my wonky pinkie! Blame that on a snowboarding accident. 'Till next time ladies... I'm almost done with my ancient draft posts! Huzzah!
