Happy 4th of July!

Last night, way late, I did my Independence Day manicure. On one hand I did a red, white, and blue skittle while on my riot hand I did a water marble. I'm actually not very pleased with my marbling but I put quite a bit of time into it so I'm keeping it. Turns out I don't have very many true red or navy crèmes! Wth?! I guess I alway bypass them in collections for some reason.

You can check out my and many other bloggers' holiday themed manis over at Pointless Cafe HERE.

I used Orly Rock Solid, Misa A Sin Worth Committing, China Glaze Man Hunt, OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, OPI Color So Hot It Berns, ButterLONDON Knees Up, China Glaze Ring In The Red, and Essie Set In Stones.

Knees Up is by far my favorite red in my collection (which, as it turns out is lacking in the reds dept.), you can kind of see in this bottle shot where the fill line is low!

I spent yesterday afternoon playing with polishes, swatching, learning how to use my new dotting tools and nail art brush. It was the perfect mood lifter and I ended the day in a much better mood than I'd been in for days. Nail polish it turns out is good for me. :) Thank you everyone who had kind words to say. <3
