My first Nails Inc - Baker Street

Are you ready for this, my fellow blue lacquer lovers!? This is the blue to end all blues, the blue I've been searching for since my very first manicure... I swoon! *faints* Too dramatic? Never. The honest truth is, I loved every second of every minute of wearing this manicure. I didn't want to take it off, let alone cover it with glitter. This bad larry stands tall, all by her bad self. But, Nails Inc Baker Street did make an excellent base for the teal jelly of Toxic and Timeless by Pahlish.

I'm not sure why exactly I waited so long to explore this brand but I'm sure that it has something to do with the fact that I have to drive across town to buy a bottle. They run under the $10 mark, so not as expensive as butterLONDON or Illamasqua, and the quality is very good. I'm sold! Now I find myself trolling the ebay and blog sales for reasonably priced discontinued colors, I waited too long!

What you see here is two coats of Baker Street over base coat, without a topcoat. I added a coat of Seche Vite after I took photos and I'm happy to say there was not shrinking or interactions. You'll notice that under LED lighting the finish looks a little matte, or rubbery. That might be due to the type of pigments used, but you can tell that under incandescent lighting its shine city. Formula and application was good and I had no issues with removal or staining. All in all, I wore this mani for a full week!

So, are you in love with Baker Street as I am?? And how about Nails Inc recommendations? I'm looking to pick up more of these polishes.
